Mark Rogers Tucson Homebrew Club Members

This is an informal heads-up for everybody. We are having a competition!
Michael Figueira of Harbottle has kindly invited the club to have a competition at Harbottle Brewing where the winning recipe will be brewed on their system.
The style of beer for the competition will be the Brown British Beers 13a-c from the BJCP 2015 Guidelines. Even though the Marzen was a popular choice, lagering ties down equipment. As we all know, they taste awesome, but take FOREVER to finish (unless you are pressure fermenting). All members present at the meeting at Harbottle in November will be judging the beers.
The “formal” announcement and contest details will be provided during the September meeting. Which brings me to the next heads-up item.
The next meeting will be THURSDAY, September 9 @ Button Brewery. NOT TUESDAY! Again, we will post a formal event notice in the coming days.
