Involvement Opportunities
Competition Judging
We are always looking for more volunteers to judge at the club only competition. If you have any interest in becoming a BJCP certified judge or if you just want to learn more about the judging process, the club only competitions are a great setting to get some experience. Contact the officers for more information.
Education Topics
Is there a topic you’re passionate about or an experiment you’d like to perform? If so, we’d love for you to present it at a club meeting! The club is willing to reimburse individuals who present an approved education topic for ingredients, commercial examples of a certain style, or anything else needed for an experiment (up to a certain threshold). If you are interested in presenting, please email the officers or approach one of us at the meeting.
Club Jockey Boxes
The club has invested in jockey boxes to rent out to the public, and we’re looking for a handful of members to take responsibility for maintenance and coordination of pickup/drop off for rentals. We have the equipment and storage space already sorted out, now we just need labor. Please email the officers or approach one of us at the meeting if you are interested in getting more involved with the club!

- 11C – Strong Bitter
- 12C – English IPA
- 18B – American Pale Ale
- 21A – American IPA
- 21B – NEIPA
- 22A – American DIPA
When:
Entries must be registered no later than Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00 PM MST (the beginning of the June general meeting). Bottles accepted at drop-off locations (Mr. Beer and Brew Your Own Brew) until Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00 PM MST
NOTE: The entry window for this competition is shorter than usual. There is still time to brew for this competition, so plan accordingly.
